(April 24th) We will be meeting in the Merry Creek Trails parking lot at 10 a.m. Since we can't legitimately start building trails we are going to begin the year by cleaning up some local favorites. It's going to be a fun day followed by a hot dog and hamburger BBQ so round up the troops and come out and show your support! Trails Boundry Proposal Complete
Posted : April 16, 2010 We have just recently completed a proposal to the Province of Britsh Columbia to use a section of land above the Merry Creek Trails parking lot to begin construction of new trails. Our plan with the land is to build 2 trails right away. An intermediate and an advanced. Unfortunatly this is just the beginning of a lengthy process, but we have high hopes of starting construction soon. In the meantime we will be focusing our efforts on the approval of a dirt jump/skills park in Castlegar. Trail Recon...In February??

Due to the lack of snow, we have begun scouting for potential trail locations. We are currently working on a proposal to the province for a section of land above the Merry Creek parking lot. Our intentions are to use this land to build a network of trails. We plan on starting out with 3 trails of different skill levels, an easy, an intermediate, and an advanced.
